One of the issues which AfriWomen members are concerned about is the under-representation of women as qualified scientist and engineers and technicians in Nigeria and other African countries. The implication of this for national and regional development is a topical issue for AfriWomen. This reason and including exploring the underlying reasons for this gap is the very essence of the AfriWomen in SET Programme.
