Our ambassadors did it again!
You read and discussed George S. Clason’s ‘The Richest Man in Babylon’.
We are all proud of you.
A few public affairs analysts and educationists would argue unrelentingly, that poverty, corruption, poor reading environment, lack of reading books and paying attention to frivolities; and dearth of libraries have caused a decline in the reading culture of our youth.
Without doubt each of this factor is a devil in its own right; and contributes immensely, in one way or the other, to the expiration of reading culture in Nigeria.
But where there is will, there is always a way. The AfriWomen ambassadors are keeping the culture of reading alive through e books and zoom meetings.
The AfriWomen Book Club is an initiative run by and for our ambassadors. Our ambassadors are volunteers. They live across the six geo-political regions of Nigeria. The book club is a part of their personal development programme.
Best wishes from all of us at the office for your next book adventure!
