AfriWomen for Entrepreneurship Initiative, under the forward thinking leadership of its founder, Adebukola Oso, is proud to announce a series of strategic partnerships aimed at empowering youth in Oyo State through digital literacy and vocational skills acquisition. As part of her role as Chairman of Oyo NOGALSS, Adebukola Oso is leveraging these collaborations to ensure that no one is left behind in the mission to equip youth with the tools for success in today’s digital world.
In a recent meeting with the Chairman of Oyo AANFE and his team of directors, Oso discussed the upcoming NOGALSS digital literacy programme for youth, which is set to create significant impact across the state. The discussions focused on strengthening the partnership to ensure the programme’s smooth implementation, maximizing its reach to empower as many young people as possible with critical technological skills.
Further engagements with the Executive Secretary of Oyo AANFE explored expanding vocational skills acquisition through AfriWomen’s initiatives. These efforts will complement the digital literacy programme, offering youth additional pathways to financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. AfriWomen remains committed to driving real change in communities, providing opportunities that will help lift many out of poverty.
Oso also held a productive meeting with the Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, one of the host communities for the digital literacy programme. Together, they reaffirmed their dedication to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in empowering youth, alleviating poverty, and breaking the cycle of generational poverty. Through this collaboration, AfriWomen is playing a pivotal role in ensuring that the youth in these communities are equipped with both the technological and entrepreneurial skills needed to thrive in an evolving global economy.
Adebukola Oso’s tireless dedication to youth empowerment, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development reflects the core values of AfriWomen. As an organization, AfriWomen is proud of its founder’s relentless efforts to drive change through innovation and collaboration, ensuring that the next generation is not only prepared for the future but is also empowered to lead it.
AfriWomen continues to champion initiatives that align with the SDG goals, creating a lasting legacy of empowerment and growth for communities across Nigeria.
